I have been following the thread about coin piano rolls containing only
one or just a few selections.  Almost all roll manufacturers produced
rolls with less than 10 musical selections on them.  They were probably
used in theaters as background music judging by the titles of the rolls.

On the other side of the coin, United States Music Rolls, in their
early days, routinely produced rolls with twenty selections!

Recently I acquired a rollography of coin piano rolls.   At present it
has over 1100 8-1/2" X 11" pages in it.  Eight hundred of those pages
are photocopies of original company catalogs.  I glanced through to see
if I could find some examples of unusual "A" rolls.  Listed below are
some that I found as I flipped through the pages.

Original catalogs of the Automatic Music Roll Company, a subsidiary of
Seeburg, have a number of these rolls, but then they produced
instruments for theaters.
