Play Your Player Piano Using a Paper Music Roll
By Jill Miller

Just a couple of comments regarding Steve Bentley's opinion on "making
the piano play in another way defeats the object of being a collector."

I have to disagree here; in fact, I see having another medium -- e.g.,
Wayne Stahnke's CD with WindPlay, the Broadmoore PowerRoll, Peter
Phillip's system and CDs and Spencer Chase's system and CDs -- as a
complement to the player piano. Even though I have most of the above
I still collect and play paper rolls.

Actually, to my way of thinking, Steve's comments about recording
all his 78 rpm records because they might get broken appears to be the
same thing. Don't believe that paper rolls don't wear out: they do --
I have heaps of them waiting, hoping to be saved.
