I've not seen this touched on in MMD before. Sometimes, when playing
my 88 note Aeolian Stroud upright for a period of time, I get a strong
odor of rubber, somewhat like you'd get from the inside of a tire.
None of the hoses or tubing is that new, and I haven't had a flat on
the piano recently. (It's still sitting level :-).
Has anyone else experienced a case of 'piano breath' from their player?
And if so, how was it addressed: rehosing / gargle / breath mint?
