Hi Folks,  The following machine is available for sale:
24-1/2" Polyphon style 54, "The Mikado".

It came fresh from the Harold Smith Collection last year where it
had stood silent for decades.  It's in totally original condition.
The bedplate has had a service by the disc box guru Bob Minney,
and is playing wonderfully, just like it ought to.  The cabinets
original finish is gleaming, but still retaining a fine patina.
They don't appear like this anymore.

If anyone is interested, please ask any questions and I have
a whole file of pictures I can send.  (The only reason it's for
sale is because I managed to buy back a Mikado I owned 15 years
or more ago, that I should never have parted with. ;-)

Oh! I also have a 21-1/2" upright Symphonion with bells, discs,
bin, all original and superb.  Shipping for either instrument
is not a problem.
