Treating New Metal Screws to Appear Old
By Larry Wilson

I am restoring a Gem Roller Organ that is missing two slotted pan
head screws: #6 x 1". I bought new screws that exactly match the
original but, naturally, they are shiny bright.

Is there a way I can make them look old? Maybe an acid, heat,
or combination or chemical and heat?

Thanks

Larry Wilson
