Seek Player Piano Supplies in Fairfield, Calif.
By Roger Anderson

I restored a Steck Duo-Art grand 30 years ago, which my daughter
and her family now have at their home in northern California.
The player still works but my daughter says it has a few problems.

My wife and I will be traveling from Florida to go see them in
a couple weeks and want to do whatever possible to improve the piano
while there. I don't know what I will need -- maybe some tubing,
piano action parts, or whatever. I don't want to haul a bunch of
things, other than a few tools, on the plane. They live in Fairfield,
California, between Sacramento and Oakland.

Is there a player rebuilder and/or piano tuner, amateur or
professional, in the area that would let me raid (buy things from)
their parts box if needed? I have no idea what may be required but
would like to hear from people that would allow me to contact them
while visiting there.

Thanks in anticipation of your help or suggestions. You can respond
via MMDigest or directly to me at <rocar@vcmails.com>
