Thorens 50-Note Music Box Adjustment

Hello Larry,  is it a cylinder movement with 2, 3 or 4 songs?  If yes,
the cylinder should glide easily on the shaft sideways.  You know
after one rotation is done it will glide sideways, more or less one mm,
for the next song.  After the last song it will glide back to the first
position.

If it is dirty may be it will not go back correctly to the first
position and it stops on a position between two songs.  Clean and oil
the shaft carefully -- maybe it will help.
