Wurlitzer Band Organ Drum Finish
By Bill Finch

Regarding Bob Stewart's question, "What was the original body color or
finish used on the drums of a late model Wurlitzer 146A band organ with
a painted facade?"

I suspect that there is no universally correct answer to this question
but in at least two cases Wurlitzer 146A band organs with late serial
numbers had drums with brown stained wood sides. The rims and head
clamps were chrome plated metal.
