Because a band organ doesn't have a keyboard, one usually uses a tuning
roll in tuning a band organ.  You can buy a style 125 tuning roll for
around $15, I think, from Mike Grant, Columbia City, Ind. (phone
260-248-8288).

Just as tuning a pipe organ is a two-man job, one to sit at the console
and another to adjust the pipe, so is tuning a band organ, one to move
the roll incrementally by hand (the drive mechanism being disabled),
the other to adjust the pipe.

Wurlitzer issued a rather half-wit set of instructions on tuning its
smaller band organs.   I doubt that any experienced organ tuner would
learn much from them.  But maybe they might be helpful in learning how
to handle the lack of stops to shut off multiple pipes on the same
windway; so I will send you a scan of the 125 instructions.
