Playing MIDI Files on PianoDisc PDS-128

Hello MMDers! First, let me introduce myself. Bert Pasquale here
in Laurel, MD; nicetameetcha.

I just got my first player piano, used. It's a Kawai KG-3 with a
PianoDisc PDS-128. It seems to work well enough, except that to adjust
the sustain controller to apply enough pressure puts the sustain just
on the edge of not dampening the lower bass notes.

But my question is: is there any "trick" to getting the PDS to play
MIDI sent from a computer? (I don't have a fine manual, and I've
searched the web.) I've got a PowerBook running MacOS X, with a MOTU
FastLane USB interface. It seems to be working to send MIDI data
(the light on the out port is flashing), but the PDS does not play the
piano. I have the MIDI cable going to the MIDI IN connection on the
back of the PDS-128.

Thanks for any advise, and if you are a PianoDisc owner near Laurel,
give me a holler!
