Rolls for Smith Lyraphone Push-Up Piano Player
By Ray Fairfield

I'm happy to report that the MMDigest has "done it again!"

Chapter one -- A month or so ago, Dan Harrett found a stash of
Lyraphone rolls (for a Smith Lyraphone push-up) in an antique shop
in Michigan, then found me using an MMD search, and advised me
where they were. I bought 'em. There were nine rolls.

Chapter two -- A couple of weeks ago, Alan Douglas sent me an e-mail
asking if I wanted to buy 20 more. He had seen my posting on MMD
about Lyraphone rolls. You know how that turned out -- I bought 'em!

My wife thinks I'm nuts, but my investment in rolls still pales next
to her jewelry box!!

I didn't know either individual, but by the miracle of the internet
(in general) and MMD (in particular) these rolls found me. But only
because fellow MMDers Dan and Alan took the time to search me out.
My thanks again to these fine people, and to MMD and those that make
it tick.
