Wurlitzer Band Organ Operating Instructions
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, Bob Stewart asked about a Wurlitzer 146A Operating
sheet. Matthew Caulfield referred him to his web site that contains
instructions for Styles 147-150 and 125.

I have found what I believe to be a reprint, though it is not labeled
as one, titled

"Directions for the Care & Operation of the Military Band Organ
Equipped with the Single Long Roll Tracker Frame
The Rudolph Wurlitzer Mfg. Co. North Tonawanda, N. Y."

It is a four-fold 5-1/2 X 8-1/2 inch pamphlet. When opened, the first
two pages show the information that Matt has on his web site. When
opened again the two facing 8-1/2 X 11 inch pages show a labeled photo,
"Rear View - Interior Of Organ", which looks similar to my 146A, and
the other page is titled "Directions for the Care & Operation of the
Military Band Organ Equipped with the Single Long Roll Tracker Frame."

Some of the subtitles are "To Put On The Music Roll, To Regulate The
Tracker Bar Should The Music Roll Not Track Properly, How The Music
Rewind Device Works ...", and it ends with "Note: We have tried to make
our organs as simple in construction as possible. If there is any
adjustment that you do not understand or you have any troubles that you
cannot remedy, write us, and we will cheerfully forward the necessary
information."

If you would like a copy of this send your postal address.
