Triphonola Roll Played at Utrecht Museum

First, a 'thank you' to all who took the effort to help me on the
questions I had about my Waddington player piano, 'specially Julian
Dyer.

Last Thursday I went to Utrecht, to the museum "Van speelklok tot
pierement". They had this special event where guests could ask advice
about restoring and bring their own mechanical music instruments to
show them to the museum's restaurateurs.

Well, I didn't bring my piano, but I did bring some rolls, also my
only Triphonola roll, and asked them to play it for me on the museum's
Triphonola, and they did. Of course I recorded it, and the record can
be found on my site. (I wouldn't bug Robbie with 3.22 Mb!) It's in
the multimedia section.

On the sound file you also hear the man who put on my roll for me say
in Dutch, "een beetje eentonig gearrangeerd," which means something
like, "a [somewhat] boring arrangement." Well, thank you, Mister!
<haha> (But I guess he's right!)

Best wishes,
Niels Berkers
