MIDIjet Wireless MIDI Adapter
By Meta Brown

Classic Organ Works is now making a wireless MIDI adapter. While it
is not cheap at $375, it is less expensive than other wireless MIDI
adapters that have been on the market, and if there is only one
instrument involved, this would probably cost less than the wireless
router and PDA option.

Information is at the Organ Works web site; there is a link to
this product from the home page. It is called MIDIjet Wireless MIDI
Adapter: http://www.organworks.com/Web/home/index.asp

For those who are interested in controlling a Yamaha Disklavier, there
may be a solution on the horizon that would cost less. Many Yamaha
Disklaviers can be controlled via a serial interface -- so no MIDI
controller would be needed -- and some of the wireless serial adapters
I have seen are modestly priced. Alas, none of the serial adapters
that I have seen offer the 8-pin mini-DIN connector that the Disklavier
requires, and I haven't been able to find any converter, either.

If anyone knows of a source for a converter that will let me go to
8-pin mini-DIN from another serial connector, such as Sub-D 9 pin,
please let me know.
