Dear MMD,  I'm interested too in recipes about how to build mechanical
or related musical instruments for children.  I'm searching for
material for a children's program that will accompany the Welte-Mignon
exhibition in the Augustinermuseum from Sept. 16th, 2004 to January
6th, 2006.

So far I tried to get our educators to build easy Theremins, but they
(mostly ladies) are far from building electronics, so the instruments
questioned should be buildable by school children (from 6 to 12 years
old) and ladies too.
