On Sunday, May 15, 2005, the Golden Gate Chapter of the Musical Box
Society will present a working display of mechanical music machines.
For your listening pleasure, there will be displays of cylinder and
disc music boxes, automata, and pneumatic machines of various types
including the "Encore Banjo" which can pluck the strings at a rate
of six hundred strokes per minute.  Chapter members will be there
to answer questions and to play the machines.  Information about
mechanical music and membership brochures will also be available.

Ardenwood Farm is located at 34600 Ardenwood Blvd., Fremont, California
94555.  Hours are 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.  The music boxes will be displayed
at the Patterson House located on the grounds.  For more information,
