Repairing Old Piano Rolls
By Larry Norman

Hi Chris and Y'all, Glad to hear that you inherited your grandparents
player piano roll collection. I love to hear that these things stay
in a family. Sorry to hear that the rolls are not all in the best of
shape.

I put out a guide to roll repairs that I provide free with purchase of
my document on mending tissue for roll repairs and would be happy to
email you a copy of the Microsoft Word document. You can read about
my repair tape and the guide at my web site under the heading of "Roll
repair parts and services": http://home.earthlink.net/~rollertunes

You will find other information about others who provide boxes and
roll leaders and other things necessary for repairing your rolls.
I used to also stock a supply of parts, but the costs were getting to
great. I will also email a copy of the repair guide to anyone else
who would like a copy or if you want a printed copy, send me a dollar
to cover printing and postage.

Musically
Larry Norman,
from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia
