Blower for Small Pipe Organ
By Andy LaTorre

I recently found an interesting blower which can be used for small
organs, available [surplus] from All Electronics Corporation
http://www.allelectronics.com/

The blower operates on 24-volts D.C. consumes about 46 watts. The
unit is German made and it is almost silent, with no vibration, even
though it spins at 3900 rpm. The aluminum housing is approximately 8
inches in diameter and the unit is a total of 4 inches thick including
motor. It has a 1.75 inches diameter output port with a 3.25 inch
flange containing 4 through holes. The input port is about 2 inches
in diameter and has a 3.5-inch flange with three tapped holes (metric).

I measured the static air pressure: it was 1.5 inches at 12 volts and
4.5 inches at 23 volts. Unfortunately, there are no specs on the air
flow (cubic feet per minute), but is sure does blow a lot of air!
It sells for $27.50 and is catalog number CF-195. This is a new
surplus item so it will not last long.
