Seeburg "HO" Reproducing Pipe Organ
By John Shanahan

I am seeking to communicate with other owners of Seeburg Model "HO"
self-contained reproducing pipe organs. This is a 1-manual 3-rank
tubular pneumatic pipe organ with a roll player system and one octave
pedal keyboard. It is quite similar to the model "MO" which is
a piano based version.

We have recently 'rescued' this instrument from an estate sale
where its time had run out and it was facing scraping. It is mostly
complete, with only two octaves of Viola pipes missing. It is, however,
dismantled and scattered among a dozen boxes of parts. The previous
owner, now deceased, took it apart about 50 years ago and never
progressed far in restoring it, nor kept any notes or diagrams to
reassemble it.

We will need photos of the air-motor-operated roll transport mechanism
and other interior mechanism locations (chest, regulators, tubular
action boxes, etc). The organ cabinet was cut in half at the waistline
to permit moving it into a basement through a 30-inch doorway, so you
can visualize how far apart it was taken. Photos can be emailed to show
what we have.

If you can help in any way with information it will be greatly appreciated
to get this organ playable again. It came with 130 "Aeolian Pipe Organ"
rolls, so there is plenty of classical music to hear once it is playable
again. Please respond to
