When measuring absolute pressure, it is measured from a perfect
vacuum or zero.  So 14.7 is psig, pounds per square inch gage.

Likewise absolute temperature in Fahrenheit is minus 461, e.g.,
200 deg. Fah. + 461= 661 deg. Fah. absolute.
