Ridding Musty Smells & Chlorine
By Gordon Stelter

I saw a post advising the use of diluted chlorine to clean keybeds.
I disagree. Chlorine is extremely reactive, and even residual amounts
which have bonded with compounds in the wood, and then leach out as
a gas, will cause everything ferrous in the piano to rust: badly.
That is my experience.
