Seek Floppy Diskettes for Yamaha MX-100A Piano
By Noel Sazias

Hello everyone, I recently bought a Yamaha MX-100A, and I love it.
The only problem nowadays is that it's practically impossible to buy
virgin 2DD 720 kilobyte floppy disks. I tried to format a 1.44 Mb
floppy disk to 720 kb, but Windows XP doesn't allow me to format a
floppy like that.

Is there anyone out there who knows how to handle this situation?
It would be crazy if I could never use the floppy disk no more if
I want to record something I play.

Does anyone know if, instead of the floppy disk [in the MX-100A] you
can build in a CDROM drive, the way the floppy disk is built in?
Is there anyone who has experience with this transforming process?

Thanks in advance,
Noël Sazias

[ I believe that, like Microsoft, Yamaha no longer supports the
[ ancient 720 kb floppy diskette system. But doesn't the MX-100 have
[ a MIDI port? You can use your computer to record and playback.
