On page 729 of Q. David Bowers' "Encyclopedia Of Automatic Musical
Instruments", there is a picture of Ed Freyer at his perforator.
Bowers credits the photo to the Vestal Press.  Since both Harvey
and Marion Roehl (owners of the press) are dead now, that lead will
probably go nowhere.

A different picture of Ed at his machine is on page 209 of Bowers'
"Put Another Nickel In."   Perhaps it would be worthwhile contacting
Dave Bowers in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, to see what he still has.
But MMD readers are pretty helpful people, and probably someone will
supply the photos you want.
