66-key B.A.B. Roll #1 Unknown Tunes
By George Karpel

I'm hoping that there is someone out there who might know the titles
of two tunes that are on the very first 66-key B.A.B. organ roll.
I've heard this roll playing on the 66-key Bruder "Apollo" organ
at the Coney Island B&B Carousell. However, because of constant
playing, and perhaps through lack of care, tune #1 on this roll is
missing and I'd like to know if anyone can supply the title. Tune
#8 of the roll needs to be identified as well.

The known titles for roll #1 that was published some time between
1929 and 1932 are as follows:

66-key B.A.B. Roll #1:

 1. ?
 2. Dream Kisses
 3. The Whip March
 4. Mary Ann
 5. Laugh Clown Laugh
 6. Dancing Tambourine
 7. Sahara
 8. ?
 9. Sunshine
10. Potato Bug Parade

Since the B.A.B. Organ Co. usually began each of its forty-four 66-key
rolls with a waltz, tune #1 would most likely be a waltz. There must
be someone who either has a copy of this roll or has a list of tunes
that would show what the titles are for this roll.
