Date Stamp Found in Weber Duo-Art Grand
By Diane deTar

While I was poking around today on a customer's Weber Duo-Art grand
I came across a stamped date on the bottom of the accordion pneumatics.
I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this stamp before and what
exactly it may represent.

My own Duo-Art piano (serial #80872) is a 1929 and the stamp is a 1929.
My customer's piano (serial #81000) was a 1929 and the stamp was December
19, 1929. I can't quite read the first part of my stamp but the 1929
is very visible. Do you think that this is the day that the piano was
finished or could it just be a date that the accordion pneumatics were
finished?

I'm just curious if anyone else has run across this stamped date and if
there is somewhere else that a date can be found stamped on any part of
the piano.
