Rick Alabaster is the name I associate with the high quality rubberized
cloth from Australia.  The MMD Archives has some contact information
for him, which you can find by looking in the KWIC subject index under
Alabaster.

His name is also unusual enough that Googling "Rick Alabaster" will
bring up the MMD entries plus others with his name in them.
