Electrical Protection for the Player Piano
By Ray Bauer

I use a high rated UPS on a dedicated 20 ampere branch circuit for
all of our instruments and have not needed any other protection since
the UPS regulates the flow.

We had a power outage here at Lake Tahoe that started December 31st
and lasted for four days. I used my 3000 watt Honda generator equipped
with an inverter (trade named cyclo-converter) and everything worked
well. I added the above in case anyone lives in an area where there
are frequent power outages. Make certain that any generator you
purchase has an inverter for stabilized power (frequency).
