FS Free: Motor Removed from Ampico A
By Ken Gordon

I have an original electric motor taken from an Ampico A piano that
is surplus. As far I know it operates fine. The mounting hardware
is also included. I will provide it free, with the person receiving
it to pay shipping costs by Fedex Ground (warning, it is heavy).
Preference given to someone who can pick it up in the Washington,
DC, area. Contact me at <kengordon@alum.mit.edu>

Thanks
Ken Gordon

[ "Heavy" is right! Motors shipped to me from neighborhood packing
[ and shipping stores often arrive in a burst cardboard carton with
[ the shaft poking out. The motor should be bolted, not screwed,
[ inside a sturdy wood box (glued & screwed) to ensure that it
[ arrives unharmed. Think of the "post office drop test": the
[ package is dropped to a concrete floor from chest height!
