"Invercargill March" Karaoke File
By Tom Lear

Hi All, I know there is quite a bit of interest in finding ways of
preserving the lyrics along with the music of all these great old piano
rolls. About six months ago I discovered that it was rather easy to
enter lyrics into my MIDI files using Powertracks version 6. To date
I have processed about three dozen MIDI files, adding lyrics and
reformatting to karaoke standard for playback on the VanBasco karaoke
player.

Recently, Richard Stibbons, the father of the current rollscanner
project, has run up a new web site at www.stibbons.com. There you will
find a link to my karoake files to date.

Due to the interest on MMD recently about the Invercargill March,
I found that I had a MIDI file of it from a scan by Robert Perry.
Keith Reedman provided the lyrics and you can find the karaoke file
of this great tune now at Richard's web site. There is a link on the
site if you need to download a copy of the VanBasco player, also some
information for setting up the player for a really good display of the
lyrics.
