"Gorilla" Glue
By Bob Yorburg

No one has addressed the real problem with "Gorilla Glue". Sign makers
use expanded [urethane] foam blanks because it is dimensionally stable.
The foam does not shrink or expand with temperature or humidity changes.

Wood does! Therefore many people have complained that the joints
telegraph or even fail over time. Epoxies are superb for permanent glue
joints if applied correctly, and they do not fail the way urethanes can.
