Beacon Adhesives Glue
By Glen R. Perye Jr.

Beacon Adhesives, Inc., has a glue new to the local 'lumberporium' and
new to the market. It is sold as a marine/hardware/household glue.
It bonds tile, brick, concrete, wood, glass, fabric and plaster, is
waterproof and dries crystal clear.

I have used it a couple of times to do wood to metal to metal, and it
did grab quick and dry fast, only I didn't pay attention to how long it
took. It is a thick pouring glue, sort of like cold syrup. It does
contain acetone; that is also the thinner for dilution. It does state
that it is highly flammable in the liquid state.

Beacon's web site is http://www.beacon1.com/ They don't have any info
on the web site yet but do encourage tech questions. They have other
industrial products that might prove of interest to the reader of this
newsletter.

This is a web site devoted to nothing but adhesives; they have an
archive of glues and info about them: http://www.thistothat.com/
