Pinblock Treatment
By Jon Page

I think I can safely say that CA is the preferred method for loose
pin treatment among piano technicians. It is instant and long lasting.
It doesn't affect going to a larger pin or plate removal. It can be
effective when 'Pin-Tite' type solutions have failed. It has even been
used to swab the tuning pin hole and re-insert the original pin.

For false beat suppression, a widely used application other than tuning
pins, look at the subject in this month's "pianotech" list entitled:

The Pianotech archives is abound with these CA topics.
