Preserve Fair Organs in Historical Context
By Bob Yorburg

I could not disagree with Jonathan more. Firstly, private
collectors are the most passionate restorers and preservers of
historical instruments, regardless of which country they are located.
It would be nice if everything stays in situ, but that is impossible.

The famous De Hagenaar organ (a very rare 90-key Carl Frei Sr. organ)
was just shipped to England for sale. By extending the previously
stated logic, this should not be allowed. More unanimity on restoration
and preservation and less on controlling context is in order.
