Hi Leslie,  A few months ago I have seen a musical box photo album
(very seldom seen) with a Thorens disc movement in the German eBay,
http://www.ebay.de/   But the details to that auction position
I have forgotten.

I do not know if Thorens produced albums; maybe another company
(or hobbyist) has done it.  If your Thorens disc movement is an open
model (if you can see the gears, spring, speed controller and so on)
then it was produced before 1952, maybe long before.

An encapsulated model is to be seen in a Thorens catalog from 1952, at
http://mmd.foxtail.com/Pictures/thorensCat8.jpg  In that form it was
produced until Thorens sold their musical box movement branch to Reuge.
With small alteration Reuge offers it 'til today.
