They do not use machine carved figures.  This is better, in my opinion,
since pre-carved figures will all look the same.  However, fully
hand-carved figures will be more expensive.

Another advantage of fully hand-carved figures: you are able to order
what you like, even if it has to be a carving of your mother-in-law.
