AOL Refuses to Deliver 060702 MMDigest
By Ray Finch

Hi Robbie, I've looked at the "offensive" link. All I see here is
an organ builder's supply web site. Maybe I'm not seeing the forest
through the trees, but I fail to see anything offensive about the web
site or the e-mail.

[ The offensive element is the domain, not the web site (Kimber-Allen).
[ An analogy is our URL, /mmd.foxtail.com/ Nothing bad about MMD, but
[ sometimes AOL rejects our email because the domain "Foxtail.com"
[ appears somewhere on a "black list" of domains that are suspected
 [ of relaying malicious emails.

Also the "un-offensive" link points to the same "offensive" link so
I don't see the problem here either. Did the web site change
overnight? What is the big deal here? What am I missing?

Ray Finch

[ The un-offensive URL is http://kimberallen.com/ When the web browser
[ is connected it is redirected to the "offensive" URL.
 [
[ AOL explains, "There is at least one URL in your email that is
[ generating substantial complaints from AOL members."
 [
[ AOL seems committed to shielding their customers from offensive
[ email and so will reject emails which AOL believes are offensive.
[ But for me -- I'd rather see everything and decide myself which
 [ email is offensive.
