"Red Wing" On "A" & "O" Rolls
By Frank Himpsl

Despite the incredible popularity of Kerry Mills' "Red Wing," it came
out at an early date and is very scarce on coin-op rolls. I'm sure
there are earlier rolls that had the tune (endless format Berry-Wood or
various Kibbey issues), but this early material hardly ever survived.

I know of the following A-rolls which contained the tune "Red Wing":

Capitol A-1963/7
US Music A-971/5, A-973/10

I don't know of an O-roll issue, but data on early O-rolls is so scarce
that it's likely the tune came out in this format but hasn't yet turned
up. I don't know of existing copies of any of the 3 A-roll versions.

All best,
