Hi all,  A friend has turned up a player square grand, of all things,
and I was wondering what was known about them.  It appears to be of
Canadian manufacture.  The piano itself is dated 1903 and patented
1902.  On the nameboard appears "Patent Player Square Grand".  The
player is a 65-noter, and was operated by the soft pedal(!).

Sounds a fascinating instrument.  Anyone know more?
