Lecoultre Freres of Geneva
By Bob Loesch

Hi Vickie. The French word "Freres" means "brothers", so the name
means LeCoultre Brothers of Geneva. I don't know how many brothers
there were, nor how long they have been in their various businesses,
but LeCoultre was and is a respected name in clockmaking, and has been
for many years. They are known for many very high-end clock models,
including the "Atmos" which is probably the ultimate "anniversary
clock".

They also manufactured high-grade watches. I have no other information
about the company, but I believe they are still in business.
