Kimball also made an electronic player organ, for which they produced
Kimball-label player organ rolls. The Kimball tracker bar is the
standard 9-to-the-inch.
Regular player piano rolls play on the Kimball organ, but most sound
choppy for lack of a sustaining pedal. Ampico rolls, because of the
note extensions, usually sound better; but you have to put some tape
over the end holes to avoid the expression tracks.
