Lowell is indeed alive and well in Amarillo.  I visited him a few days
ago.  He is a wonderful man to talk to, a true gentleman.

He is also full of carny stories and loves to tell them.  He has a great
collection of original carnival machines, cars, band organs, and a fire
truck, everything in perfect working order.
