J. L. Cook was on several TV shows.  A transcript of "You Asked

I have also seen Cook on "I've Got A Secret," with Gary Moore.  The
show was about 1960 or so.  It was run on the Game Show Network and
featured a "duet" with their musical director.  I have contacted the
network about the show, but never received a response.

I am sure he was on others as well.
