Dear All:  Thank you very much to all of you who responded to my
request for help for Dr. Helmut Kowar who is trying to develop
a standardized method of reading mechanical organ barrels and
translating the resultant music directly to a written manuscript --
a process which will facilitate analysis for tune identification.

As the technique is developed either I or Helmut will, from time
to time, give you a progress report.
