Lights Inside a Coin Piano
By Bob Hodge

Hi, The lamp circuit would be wired in parallel with the motor.
You'd have to isolate that wire and put it on the other side of the
accumulator motor switch to have full time lights.

Juke boxes used to have a lamp option switch for full time or play
only lamps, but I've never found one on a coin piano. It could have
been a factory option.

[ The light wired in parallel with the motor absorbs most of the
[ 'kickback' energy released as a voltage spike when the motor
[ shuts off, thus protecting the motor insulation. -- Robbie
