Regular readers of MMD have seen my announcement about selling PDF
files of my 1986 book on building a Wurlitzer 125 with electronic tone
generation.  So far I've sent out 12 copies to people who seem to have
been searching for it for a long time.  Now, since the electronics from
Devtronix are no longer available, all the buyers can do is use the
documentation for the case and pneumatic stack.

I'd very much like to re-do the book using a MIDI tone generator
instead of the obsolete Devtronix units.  I'm hoping some MIDI guru
would be interested in co-authoring the book because I am absolutely
ignorant of anything MIDI-wise.  If someone will take the bait, of
course we'll split the profits from the book when re-issued.  We could
do it as PDF or have it printed for free by www.lulu.com

I'm hoping that there might be an MMD member well-versed in MIDI,
in Tokyo, which would make life much easier.  If anyone is interested,
please contact me and we can discuss it.
