Favorite Duo-Art Classical Music Rolls
By Bruce Grimes

I might add something to Jeffrey Wood's information about Chopin's
Fantaise Op.49, roll no. 6266. Later, Aeolian did put this roll on
Jumbo spools in its longer form for the pianos with Jumbo spoolboxes.
I'd love to come across a new copy as mine is showing its age as much
as I am.

By the way, for Duo-Art owners with long play Jumbo spoolboxes, all
of Schuman's Carnival fits on one spool, as does all of his Symphonic
Studies. All of John Powell's "Sketches of American Fun at the Fair"
(3 rolls) do as well. La Norma, La Traviata, and Rigoletto, also fit
on one spool.

These aforementioned rolls are ones I've liked on the Duo-Art for the
last half century, and are all available as singles.
