Duo-Art 6266, Chopin Fantaisie, Op. 49
By Eliyahu Shahar

It wasn't too long ago that there was a very interesting discussion
about Chopin's Fantaisie in F minor, Op. 49, played by Harold Bauer
(Duo-Art roll 6266).

Julian Dyer recut this roll and I purchased it and it's exceptional.
I would be interested to compare his copy with an original to see how
the original performs on my piano (there are no repetition problems
with Julian's roll that I could discern).

As an interesting footnote, on eBay I have noticed a recut of the
roll made by Harold Powell, with the mistake in the labeling that
it's identified as Chopin Fantasie Op. 46.
