Many thanks to Matthew for publishing the citation.  I always quoted
the year 1909, which is given in "William Braid White: The player-piano
up-to-date", New York, 1914, and is now proven to be wrong.  I'll try to
find a corresponding article in the "Zeitschrift für Instrumentenbau".
