Many years ago Harvey Roehl's Vestal Press "House Organ" carried
the story of an Ampico owner.  He and his family were packing for
a vacation with their grand playing in the background, set to repeat.
The power failed, but as it was daylight they finished packing and
drove off.

Of course the inevitable happened; on return they were greeted by
the piano, which hadn't been turned off.
