While this thread has probably been exhausted by now, I have read
the various postings with great interest inasmuch as I buy several
rolls every week on eBay "if the price is right!"

Just a hearty second to everything Greg Farmer says in his recent
comments.  No matter how much I might desire the roll, I refuse to
bid on or buy any roll that ships other than Media Mail.  I don't
really care about the convenience to the seller -- I am interested in
having my money invested in the music roll, not the US Post Office!
